The Enchanted Atrium began with a simple belief: extraordinary celebrations deserve extraordinary spaces. From the moment we first stepped inside this remarkable building, we weren't just inspired by its architecture — we were inspired by its potential. We envisioned a place where timeless design, thoughtful hospitality, and unforgettable experiences would come together to create something truly special. Every decision, from preserving the soaring timber ceilings to creating intimate gardens and beautifully designed gathering spaces, has been guided by one purpose: to create moments that leave people in awe. We believe those moments become the memories families cherish for generations, and that belief has shaped every part of our vision.
We chose the name The Enchanted Atrium because it reflects both the architecture that first inspired us and the experience we hope every guest will feel. An atrium is a grand, open space filled with natural light — a place where people gather, connect, and celebrate. The breathtaking open structure at the heart of this historic building became the foundation of our vision and the inspiration for our name. The word enchanted is not about fairy tales or fantasy. To us, it represents those quiet moments of wonder that take your breath away — the first glimpse of The Grand Atrium, a walk through the gardens, the reflection of the koi pond, dancing beneath a canopy of stars, or sharing a laugh with loved ones. Phase 1 follows the real work of turning a vision into an approved, buildable venue — from finding the property and shaping the design to parking, planning, and City review.

The Enchanted Atrium officially found its home in San Bernardino. With the property secured, the dream became a real place — and the work of transforming it could begin.

Working with our architect and design team, we began translating the vision into plans that balance beauty with guest flow, food service, parking, safety, and everyday operations.

Our first planning and Conditional Use Permit materials are now with the City of San Bernardino for review. We'll share what we learn, what changes, and what comes next.

Our Conditional Use Permit application is now moving through City and agency review. Professionally stamped plans have been submitted, and the project is being reviewed by the departments involved in bringing The Enchanted Atrium to life. As comments come in, our architect and team will address the next round of requirements as we work toward the public hearing and final approval.

Once departmental comments have been addressed and the project is ready, the next major milestone will be the City's public hearing and final action on our Conditional Use Permit.
